Day 1: Travel day to Portland, OR

Our beautiful view of NorCal and Oregon all day today! We had a long 24 hour journey from Fresno and we are ready to crash. Sitting at dinner tonight, we all still felt the movement of the train in our bodies. 

We got off the train, assembled our bikes out of their boxes (am unexpected task we had to do), and then walked to our hosts' house a couple miles away with some great views soon the path. Below is the Willamette River and downtown Portland in the background....a beautiful skyline indeed!

Our hosts took us to Frank's Noodles, homemade noodles that were delicious! Followed by some good ice cream, we are ready to sleep!

Below is Steel Bridge in the background as we walked to our host house. Gorgeous day, nice weather, a no hundreds of bicycles out and about. This is my kind of place!

It's time again for another TOUR!!!!

In about two weeks we will be on our way again, taking the train up to Portland, OR and riding back to San Francisco, an 893 mile trip. Be on the lookout for updates, pictures, videos, and beautiful scenery!
